In the US,Bernie Sanders has beaten Hillary Clinton in the Maine caucuses, the latest contest in the battle to be the Democratic presidential candidate. The Vermont Senator narrowed the lead of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with his victory in the Sunday contest. This is the 8th state that the self-proclaimed reformist has taken, to Clinton’s 11.
The next Democratic primaries are scheduled in Michigan and Mississippi on Tuesday. Democrats in Florida and 4 other states will choose their delegates on March 15th.
