President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings to the nation on the eve of Lohri, as well as Makar Sankranti and Pongal. In his message, the President wished everyone success, happiness and prosperity.
He hoped that these festivals bind the communities and regions of India in fraternal love and inspire the people to work for country’s unity and progress.
