Noted Hindi writer and journalist Ravindra Kalia passed away at a private hospital in New Delhi. He was 78.Kalia had been suffering from liver cirrhosis.Known for his works like ‘Nau Saal Chotti Patni’ and ‘Ghalib Chutti Sharab’, the former Bharatiya Jnanpith director was also the editor of several literary magazines, including Naya Gyanodaya.
