Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu today announced two committees for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, and a Central Committee. He also elevated his son and TDP Workers Welfare Fund convener Nara Lokesh as party’s general secretary (Organisation) and as ex-officio Polit Bureau member.
A 20-member Central Committee, including party president, will oversee the party activities in both states. The committee consists of four vice presidents, three general secretaries, treasurer, five official spokespersons, programmes committee convener, disciplinary committee convener and others.
Mr. Naidu also announced that Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao will function as president of Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh. L. Ramana will be Telangana TDP president.
