The Congress has alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is controlling the government. Reacting to presence of Union Ministers and presentation by them during the ongoing Samanvay Baithak of RSS, the party said it seems that the Ministers are accountable to RSS rather than to the people.
In a statement, party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said, Ministers giving presentations and getting appraised by the RSS for the work is travesty of democracy. He said, the people of India have been taken for a ride by the BJP as it has neither the autonomy nor the permission to govern the country.
