The CRPF and Jharkhand Police have arrested three hardcore members of the banned CPI (Maoist) from Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Inspector General (Operations) Narendra Kumar Singh has confirmed the arrests. Those arrested include Madan Mahato, carrying a reward of 15 lakh rupees, Ravi Sardar, carrying a reward of 5 lakh rupees, and woman Maoist Meena, who carried a reward of 2 lakh rupees. Security forces have also recovered three AK-47 rifles from the arrested Maoists.
