With this victory, India clinched the series 2-1. Chasing the target of 177 runs set by India, Australia could manage 159, losing nine wickets. While Shreyanka Patil and Shree Charani bagged three wickets each, Arundhati Reddy took two and Renuka Singh Thakur claimed one. Earlier, electing to bat first, India posted 176 runs, losing six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana scored a fine 82 runs in 55 balls. Jemimah Rodrigues made 59 in 46 balls.
