The Indian Air Force (IAF) is all set to showcase a breathtaking aerial display during the Republic Day parade on 26th  January, this year. According to the IAF, a total of 40 aircraft will perform a flypast over the Kartavya Path, displaying precision and prowess in various formations.

This time India’s best fighter aircraft and versatile machines in the IAF’s arsenal, such as the MiG-29, Rafale, Sukhoi-30, Jaguar, Apache, C-130, C-295, and C-17 will take part in the flypast. The synchronized flypast will feature meticulously choreographed formations of Dof hawj, Baaz, Ajay, Satluj, Arjan, Netra, and Bheem among others. 

Highlighting the extensive preparations made by the IAF for this year’s Republic Day parade, Wing Commander Manish Sharma said, that this year, 40 aircraft will participate in the Republic Day flypast over Kartavya Path, showcasing the strength and capability of the Indian Air Force. 

Apart from the flypast, the IAF marching contingent will showcase its Indomitable spirit on the Kartavya Path. A total of 148 IAF personnel will take part in the marching contingent led by Squadron Leader Mahendra Singh. 

Republic Day parade showcases India’s military strength and honours its rich heritage, with the flypast serving as one of the grandest moments of the parade. The sight of fighter jets, transport aircraft, and helicopters soaring through the skies in perfect harmony instils pride and patriotism in the audience.
