during the forthcoming foreign secretaries level talks between the two countries.

Talking to media persons here on Monday, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said that all issues of bilateral nature would be taken up during the meeting. He said that New Delhi has got important evidence, assessments and statements on oath against Pakistan from Rana’s trial in the Chicago Court. He said Rana mentioned about the nexus between Pakistan government’s ISI and the perpetrators of Mumbai attack and the issue will be taken up for discussions during the meeting scheduled for later this month. Replying to a question on whether Government will request the US to appeal in a higher court against the clean chit given to Rana by a Chicago court in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Mr Krishna said that Indian government doesn’t believe in interfering in any internal legal process of another country.

On the issue of China diverting the course of Bhramputra, Krishna said that the government has sought a report from its mission in Beijing on the matter and appropriate diplomatic steps will be taken after getting more details from the mission.
