According to the complaint it was alleged that Addl SP Inspector of Tiring, Gorumahisani, Badampahar of Mayurbanj district has acted in connivance with the mining mafia.
It also mentioned that large scale agriculture crop had been damaged since last five years due to illegal iron ore/ stone mining by the mining mafia at Mayurbanj districts.
Due to the large scale illegal mining agricultural income loss affecting 60,000 poor farmers of 12 gram panchayats.
The commission has sent a report on June 3, as per the duties based on the specific complaints with respect to the deprivation of rights and safeguards of scheduled tribes and has been given powers of civil court to deal with the complaints.
