At least six people have been killed and 12 injured in a shooting in the centre of Sacramento in California. According to Police, people fled through the streets after rapid gunfire rang out in an area packed with restaurants and bars on Sunday.
Sacramento Police Chief Katherine Lester said that three of the deceased are men, and three are women.
According to media reports, investigators urged the public to come forward with any information that might help identify those responsible.
The shooting came several hours after one person was killed and 10 people were injured when gunfire erupted at an outdoor concert in Dallas, Texas.
