Night curfew imposes till 31st Jan

In view of the upsurge of COVID-19 cases in the past week. Arunachal Pradesh government has issued new set of restrictions which came into effect from today. Accordingly, night curfew has been imposed daily from 9 pm to 5 am till 31st of this month. The commercial establishment will continue to operate by adhering to laid down SoPs. Government offices will function with 50 percent of employees on a rotation basis. Mass gathering events are banned, and bars, restaurants, gyms, swimming pools, cinema halls, auditoriums, etc to be operated at 50% capacity.
All schools Govt. and Pvt. will remain closed during this period, with classes being conducted on online mode.
Arunachal Pradesh yesterday recorded 186 fresh COVID19 cases, which is the highest single-day caseload in the last few months. With this, the active cases in the state stand at 535.
