aMore than 38 crore 76 lakh vaccine doses have been administered till now under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 37 lakh 14 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the country is now at 97.28 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 41 thousand people recovered from Covid-19. Till now, over 3 crore 1 lakh people have recovered from Covid-19 infection.
India reported 38 thousand 792 new COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours. Active cases are now at 4 lakh 29 thousand 946. Active cases constitute 1.39 per cent of total cases. Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 per cent and it is currently at 2.25 per cent. Daily positivity rate at 2.10 per cent and it is less than 3 per cent for 23 consecutive days. In the last 24 hours, 624 deaths have been reported. With this the death toll due to the pandemic has reached 4 lakh 11 thousand 408. ICMR said, more than 43 crore 59 lakh samples have been tested for COVID19 till now. Yesterday, more than 19 lakh 15 thousand samples were tested.
