In Kerala, the number of COVID positive cases reported per day shows a gradual declining trend, with the strict implementation of state-wide lockdown norms. 30,491 infection cases were reported among the 1,31,525 samples tested within the last 24 hours. 44,369 recoveries and 128 deaths were also reported.
The test positivity rate is 23.18 per cent. COVID death toll in the state has reached 6852. The total number of infected patients currently undergoing treatment is 3,17,850.
