Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis today rejected the claims made by BJP MP from Karnataka Ananth Kumar Hegde about his short-lived tenure as Chief Minister after election results.

He clarified that during his tenure as a caretaker CM, he did not take any policy decision.

Mr. Fadnavis, while talking to reportes today in Nagpur said, the state has not received any funding for the bullet train project and the state’s role is limited to only land acquisition purpose.

Earlier on Saturday, Anant Kumar said, the BJP Government in Maharashtra formed for short tenure under CM Fadanvis leadership to prevent misuse of Central finanacial assistance of 40,000 crore rupees by the Opposition coalition led by the Shivsena.
