In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing on Indian forward posts and civilian areas in the border district of Poonch today.
Defence spokesperson told media that at around 3.15 p.m. Pakistani troops initiated the unprovoked firing of small arms and shelling with Mortars along Lien of Control (LoC) in Shahpur and Kirni sectors in the Poonch district.
Indian troops are giving a befitting reply to Pak firing. No loss of life or damage was reported from the Indian side.
