A Delhi court will pass an order on Congress leader DK Shivakumar’s bail application on 25th of this month.

Additional Solicitor General KM Nataraj, appearing for the Enforcement Directorate, ED, today opposed the bail plea before Special Judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar.

The ED said the Congress leader from Karnakata may influence witnesses in the money laundering case in which he has been arrested.

Senior advocates Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Shivakumar, opposed the Additional Solicitor General’s submission.

They said Shivakumar was innocent and that the ED was desperate to keep him in jail. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its order.
