At least 29 people were killed and 24 injured in a road accident on Yamuna Expressway in Agra district of uttar pradesh this morning.
The mishap occurred during wee hours at Jharna Nala in Etmadpur area when a UP Roadways bus skidded off the road and fell into nullah.
Agra DM NG Ravi Kumar said Police and local administration reached on spot and started the rescue operation.
He said injured have been admitted to various hospitals. Six injured passengers are in serious condition.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the incident. He also directed District Magistrate and SSP to provide all possible medical attention to the injured.
