The Lok Gathbandhan Party president and former Secretary Government of India Vijay Shankar Pandey today said that NDA government has totally failed to curb black money menace in the country. Mr Pandey said black money crisis has further worsened during the last five years.

Addressing public meetings in rural area of Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency, the Lok Gathbandhan Party candidate Mr Pandey said the BJP had made promise during 2014 Lok Sabha election to bring back huge black money, kept in foreign banks and distribute it among poor people in the country, however after five years in power the NDA government’s failure is glaring on the issue. Mr Pandey told the people that the BJP’s promise of Rs 15 lakh in accounts of poor people proved fake, as the party was never serious about it. Mr Pandey further said that quantum of black money has in fact increased during the NDA regime and its disastrous demonetization exercise also failed to have any positive impact. Mr Pandey said now the BJP has been making false claim that it has succeeded on this front, where as the situation is just the opposite. Mr Pandey said even as the people are now asking the outcome of black money promise, the BJP has been desperately trying to skirt the issue and push it under the carpet.

Mr Pandey said fight against corruption, restoration of honesty, good governance, transparency in system, black money, job creation- all combined in one catch-word “Achhe din” slogan of the BJP has now been pushed aside as the BJP has miserably failed on this front. Mr Pandey said the hapless people are still yearning for promised “good days” and solution to their perennial economic problems. He said the NDA government had in fact been a big failure on major issues which had long been confronting the nation. On job creation reports from various sectors indicate that NDA government had received the worst rating as there was widespread disappointment among the jobless youth, Mr Pandey said and added that in rural areas unemployment problem has assumed serious dimension with no solution in sight. He said BJP has once again resorted to fake slogans to mislead the people.
