Cheteshwar pujara, Rishabh Pant impress scoring 150 plus runs each

Rishabh Pant becomes the first Indian wicket-keeper to score a Test century in Australia

 

India declared their first innings at 622 for seven against Australia in Sydney. Wicket Keeper batsman Rishab Pant stole the show with 159 not out and all rounder Ravinder scored a brilliant 81 runs on the second day today.

The visitors resumed their innings with 303 for 4 this morning with Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari at the crease. Cheteshwar Pujara slammed his 18th Test century and Mayank Agarwal contributed 77 runs on the first day of the test.

For the hosts, Nathan Lyon took all the three wickets today. Australia were 24 for 0 in their first innings when reports last came in.
