Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the government is committed to enhancing ease of living of people.
Addressing a Kisan Sammelan in Janjgir of Champa district of Chhattisgarh after laying the foundation stones for Bilaspur-Pathrapali four-lane road project and Bilaspur-Anuppur third railway line there, he said the government is moving ahead with the mission of Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas.
Mr. Modi said the NDA government had launched Crop Insurance Scheme, Kisan Sampada Yojana, Mudra Swasthya Card and schemes for making quality seeds and fertilizers and developing markets for agricultural produce to double the income of farmers by 2022.
Mr. Modi said Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his tenure as Prime Minister created Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh and all the three states are progressing repeatedly. He said, thanks to Atal ji’s vision of development.
Earlier, Prime Minister launched commencement of work for the revival of Talcher fertilizer plant in Odisha.
The 13,000 crore rupee plant will produce 1.27 million tonnes of neem-coated urea. It will start production in 36 months. Mr. Modi also inaugurated Jharsuguda Airport in Western Odisha.
The airport will come up under the government’s UDAN scheme. He also dedicated to the nation new Jharsuguda-Barapali-Sardega railway line and two coal mines of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and NTPC in Sundergarh district.
