The Delhi Cabinet in its meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has approved some important decisions.

The cabinet accorded its in-principle approval to the Department of Environment & Forests proposal for the doubling of financial assistance to RWAs/NGOs for maintenance of parks and gardens and provision of financial assistance for installation of Sewage Treatment Plants.

It approved the proposal to increase the financial assistance from Rs one lakh per acre to Rs two lakh per acre to parks and gardens registered with the Delhi Parks and Gardens Society

The Cabinet approved the Department of Women and Child Development for mapping Delhi Using Safety pin focusing on Women Safety in Public Spaces.
In-principle approval & expenditure sanction for CCTV cameras in government school, School Management Committees (SMCs) to be empowered, Revision of remuneration for miscellaneous guest teachers and Enhancement of financial assistance to leprosy affected persons were some other decisions taken by the cabinet.
