Prime Minister expressed unhappiness over the paper leak

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has decided to re-conduct the examination of mathematics paper of Class 10th and economics paper of Class 12th in the wake of the reports of paper leaks.
The Board said the dates of fresh examinations of these papers and other details will be posted on the CBSE website within a week. The board said it has taken cognisance of certain happenings in the conduct of examinations as are being reported.
It said, with a view to uphold the sanctity of the board examinations and in the interest of fairness to the students, the board has decided to re-conduct the examinations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to HRD minister Prakash Javadekar over the issue of CBSE paper leaks and demanded strict action against the perpetrators, according to sources.The Prime Minister expressed unhappiness over the issue, the sources said.
Meanwhile, Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said, the government has taken cognizance of CBSE paper leak.
Talking to MEDIA PERSONS here, Mr Javadekar said, investigation in the matter is underway and strict action will be taken against those involved in paper leak case. He also assured the students and their parents that incidents of paper leak will not recur.
