Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said Government is committed to remove imbalance in banking system. Inaugurating newly constructed head office complex of Punjab National Bank in Delhi, Mr Jaitley said Centre is working to make a healthy banking system to support growth of economy.
He said apart from making financial profits, Punjab National Bank will have to take social responsibility so that people in remote areas have access to banking system with utmost ease. Punjab National Bank has set a target of 25 thousand crore digital payments this year.
