Nine nationals of Bangladesh, including two children will be deported soon to that country from a detention camp at Silchar in Assam. Bangladesh has agreed to take back of their nationals. There are six detention camps in Assam at Silchar, Goalpara, Kokrajhar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Tezpur.
Cachar Deputy Commissioner S. Viswanathan said that details of all detainees were handed over to his counterparts in Sylhet and Moulvibazar of Bangladesh during a meeting last year.
