Five Korean and three Nepali climbers were killed in Mount Gurja in Nepal, after their camp was devastated by a violent snowstorm last evening.
Rescue operation to retrieve the bodies of climbers from base camp has been temporarily suspended due to bad weather.
According to Nepal Police bodies of eight climbers were spotted this morning in the wreckage of their tents by a rescue team.
One Nepali climber is still missing. Gurja is the rarely climbed mountain in Nepal’s Annapurna region.
