four personnel of District Reserve Force were injured today in an IED blast triggered by Maoists in Sukma district of tribal Bastar region in Chhattisgarh,.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, P Sounder Raj said the incident took place when the forces were on a search and combing operation in the forests of Phulbagdi area.
Maoists triggered the blast targeting the security personnel, leaving five of them critically injured. He said all the injured were airlifted to the state capital for treatment.
