In a joint operation by Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad and Telangana Police, three youths from Hyderabad were arrested on Saturday at the international airport here while they were allegedly on their way to join the terror organization ISIS.

A senior ATS officer told a news agency that they got information that the youth would be boarding the early morning flight from Nagpur to Srinagar and the men were held in a joint operation conducted by the Telangana Police and the ATS .

The youth, who came to Nagpur by cab, were handed over to the Telangana Counter-Intelligence cell, the officer said.

They were planning to board an flight to Srinagar from Nagpur after arriving from Hyderabad on Friday.
