Eleven people were killed and six injured when a jeep collided with a truck in Jhansi. The incident took place last night near Bundelkhand Degree College in Sipri Bazar area when a jeep carrying 20 passengers to Datia in Madhya Pradesh collided with the truck, police said.
While three persons died on the spot, eight died during treatment in the hospital. The truck driver fled from the spot. The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem.
