President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the new greenfield building of the High Court of Jharkhand and dedicated the largest court building of the country to the nation. A virtual tour of the High Court spread over an area of 165 acres of land was showcased before the President. The new eco-friendly building of the High Court of Jharkhand has been equipped with energy-saving systems.

On this occasion, the President said that the judiciary should bring more innovative ways for enhancing the access of people towards justice. She emphasised upon the use of rich linguistic skills and developed technology for a wider reach of people to Courts.

Chief Justice of India Justice DY Chandrachud, Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Supreme Court Judge Justice Anirudh Bose, Governor of Jharkhand C P Radhakrishnan, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren were present on this occasion.

CJI Justice D Y Chandrachud emphasised upon the upgrading of district and civil courts for a wider reach of public to the judiciary. Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu also met 8 representatives of primitive tribes at Raj Bhawan in Ranchi. She assured of providing aid and assistance of all centrally sponsored schemes.
