Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board today announced the results of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
Announcing the results in Allahabad today the UP Board Director Amarnath Verma said, 87.66 percent students of High school were declared successful.
He said, 87.99 percent students cleared successfully their class 12 Board examination. This year all top five candidates in high school and intermediate board exams are girls. Sakshi Verma from Barabanki district topped this year in class 12th board exam while Saumya Patel from Railbareli district got first position in High School merit list.
More than 28 lakh students passed class 10 examination and in class 12 board exam about 25 lakh 66 thousand examinees declared successful. About 200 prisoners also successfully cleared their board exams for class 10th and 12th.
