The UN children’s agency, UNICEF, has decided to scale up operations in Greece to support twenty two thousand migrant children. The decision was announced after a UNICEF goodwill ambassador singer Nana Mouskouri’s visit to migrant facilities.
According to UNICEF’s special coordinator for the refugee crisis in Europe, the organisation will support programmes by the Greek government and other partners.
