The total number of COVID-19 cases reported so far reached to 84 thousand 544 with 1,897 Coronavirus positive cases reported during the past 24 hours in Telangana.
As per the daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department this morning, 1,920 more people recovered from COVID-19, taking the recovery rate to 72.49 per cent.
With this, over 61 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19 so far in the state. Nine more patients died yesterday due to COVID and other comorbidities taking the total toll to 654.
Meanwhile, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, where COVID-19 prevalence is more, reported 479 fresh cases during the past 24 hours while, Medchal Malkajgiri district reported 172 cases afresh, Rangareddy district reported 162, and Sangareddy reported 107 cases afresh during the past 24 hours.
