Official sources said, the Bill is likely to come up in the Lok Sabha in the Monsoon Session of Parliament. The Bill has been passed in the Rajya Sabha last year.
Meanwhile the Congress on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to bring Women’s reservation Bill in Lok Sabha in the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Talking to media in on Tuesday, party spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan said that the UPA government got it passed in the Rajya Sabha and would like to see it as an act.
