Jharkhand police spokesperson S N Pradhan told media that till now police had not found any criminal record against Riyaz who hail from city and belong to a middle class family.
He however said that senior officers were in touch with their Ahmedabad police and were sharing information with them.
“According to information received so far, Riyaz, though a native of Jharkhand, was working in Hyderabad and was not involved in any kind of anti-national activities in the state,” said Pradhan. “If needed, a police team from Jharkhand will go to Gujarat.”
According to report Danish was arrested while he was alighting from Secunderabad Express. His name figures in the Intelligence Bureau’s list of wanted persons. Faisal, a relative of the Danish said he was working in some software company in Hyderbad for last two year and was in regular touch with family.
He is a resident of Joda Talab area under Bariatu police station here. Faisal said that he is very simple boy and was good at studies. Family member of Danish are worried as they do not know his whereabout after arrest. “Nobody has informed us about his arrest. We come to know the news through newspaper and some TV channels”, said family members.
