In Badminton, India’s Saina Nehwal, crashed out of Malaysian open Badminton. In the women’s singles competition, former world number one and Olympic medallist Nehwal lost to world number 2, Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi in straight sets.
Saina went down 15-21, 13-21 to Yamaguchi in 36 minutes at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur today. Malaysian Open is the first tournament of the South-East Asia leg of Badminton World Federation’s world tour.
