mohan bhagwat RSS conclave

AMN / NEW DELHI

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has pitched for protection of cows but disapproved of going against law in the name of cow vigilantism. He said, it is a crime to take law in one’s own hands and there should be stringent punishment in such cases.
Mr Bhagwat was speaking on the concluding day of the three day lecture series organized by the RSS on Bharat of the Future – An RSS Perspective in New Delhi yesterday. Expressing anguish over crime against women, he said an environment needs to be created where women feel safe and secure.
In reply to other question, the RSS Chief said, Hindutva is not Hinduism and it is a dynamic and ever evolving process. It is Hindutva which can cooperate with all other thoughts and even assimilate them.
