NCW seeks explanation from Khan

National Commission for Women (NCW) has sought explanation from Bollywood actor Salaman Khan for his controversial remarks on women.
Talking to media in New Delhi today, NCW Chairperson Lalitha Kumaramangalam said Mr.Khan has been given seven days time to apologise failing which the NCW will summon him. She also termed the comments as sad.
Salman khan had to undergo rigorous training for the wrestling drama and in an interview to online entertainment portal, he allegedly said that after shooting a scene, he used to feel like a “raped woman”.
“While shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved. That was tough for me because if I was lifting, I’d have to lift the same 120-kilo guy 10 times for 10 different angles. And likewise, get thrown that many times on the ground.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s father and noted film writer Salim Khan has apologized on behalf of his son. In a series of tweets, the writer said undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong but he had no bad intentions.
During a publicity session for his upcoming movie Sultan on Saturday, the actor had made controversial comments on raped women.
