BJP general secretary Ram Madhav yesterday stoked a controversy by questioning Vice President Hamid Ansari’s absence at the International Yoga Day event at Rajpath. In a tweet, Mr Madhav questioned, the absence of Vice President. As the topic trended and criticised on the social media platform, Mr Madhav apologized and later deleted both the tweets including his apology. He said, he was not informed that Vice President was unwell. However, Vice President Hamid Ansari’s office has said that he was not invited to the Yoga Day event in the capital yesterday.
