In Rajasthan, the debate is underway in the State Assembly on COVID and economic situation in the state. Initiating the discussion, Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma informed the house that the State Government is emphasizing on increasing the recovery rate from COVID-19, reducing the fatality rate and strengthening the health infrastructure. He said that the state’s condition is better than the other states regarding the Corona outbreak.
The house is to discuss six hours on the COVID situation and economic conditions of the state. The Health Minister told the house that the recovery rate in the state is higher than the national average.
Twenty lakh samples of Corona have been tested so far. Corona testing facility has been started at 35 places in 22 districts of the state and this facility will be started soon in the remaining 11 districts.
The Health Minister Informed that the fatality rate in the state is 1.38, which is much lower than the national average. During the debate, former Health Minister Kali Charan Saraf accused the government of discrimination in the distribution of relief material.
