Six women were killed after soil collapsed in Madepura village of Sapotra sub division of Karauli district in Rajasthan. Among them, 5 women belong to the same family, who died on the spot. One died on the way to the hospital. Four women admitted in Sapotra hospital.
On the occasion of Diwali festival, women went to dig the soil for the painting of the house. About a dozen women and girls were buried under the soil due to the sudden collapse of the soil. With the help of villagers, women and girls were pulled out of the soil.
