After Election Commission order, police personnel violating election guidelines on checking of voters and stopping voters from casting their vote in Sisamau assembly seat of Kanpur City have been suspended. Action is being taken in other districts as well, where bypolls are being held today. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar has instructed poll officials to ensure a fair and smooth voting process.
