Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Fumio Kishida and congratulated him for assuming charge as the Prime Minister of Japan.
In a tweet, Mr Modi said that he looks forward to working with the Prime Minister of Japan to further strengthen India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership and to enhance cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
