Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh has said that terrorists warning people in Kashmir Valley against venturing out of their homes will be dealt with sternly and neutralised.

He said patrolling has been intensified and various other measures initiated to instil confidence among locals.

He was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in Jammu today.

The DGP said a couple of terrorists were neutralised and over a two dozen others, including their sympathisers, arrested in the Valley.

He said the people have not responded to Pakistani propaganda and foiled Islamabad’s designs to create unrest.

Dilbag Singh said there is a large presence of terrorists across the Line of Control (LoC), but expressed confidence that the counter-infiltration grid will take care of them.
