Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan has been granted protective bail by Lahore High Court in three cases related to the 9th of May vandalism and the murder of senior Supreme Court lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar in Quetta.

Advocate Shar was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Quetta’s Alamo Chowk on Airport Road on the 6th of June. This comes a day after an anti-terrorism court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the former Prime Minister and six other PTI leaders. Earlier today, Imran Khan appeared before a Lahore anti-terrorism court where he was granted protective bail till the 7th of July against surety bonds worth one lakh Pakistani rupees.
