Pakistani Rangers last night again violated ceasefire on the International Border in forward areas in Samba sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

This has come just a few days after the Sector Commander level talks between BSF and Pak Rangers decided to maintain truce on the borders. Official sources said Pakistani Rangers fired few rounds from small arms at Chilyari, Khwada and Regal posts between 6.30 pm to 8 pm last night. Firing was appropriately retaliated by BSF. There were no casualties or damage on the Indian side in the firing.

Meanwhile security forces yesterday busted a hideout of the militants at Dachan forests in Ramban district and recovered a consignment of arms, ammunition and explosives. The recoveries included one AK-47 rifle with four magazines, two pistols, 250 rounds of AK-47, 30 rounds of Pika gun, 10 hand grenades, 10 Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades, two radio sets, two binoculars and two wire fuses.
