The Congress,TMC, RJD and JD(U) today staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha in protest of the alleged derogatory remarks by BJP member against some Congress leaders. During the question hour, Congress member Mallikarjun Kharge requested the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to ask the BJP member Virendra Singh to seek apology for his remarks. He said, government is supporting each and every misdeed of BJP members and the Ministers.
Sudeep Bandhopadhyay of TMC also expressed his objections over the remarks by the BJP member. He urged the Speaker to ask Mr Singh to tender his apology in the House. The Speaker said she has already expunged the objectionable remarks from the proceedings of the House.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that the objectionable remarks were already expunged and we cannot force any member for apology. Not satisfied with the ruling of Speaker, the Congress and TMC, RJD and JD(U) staged a walkout.
