Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said there is no unrest in Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370.
He said not a single bullet was fired in Kashmir after the government revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a seminar on Article 370 at Goregaon in Maharashtra, he said terrorism will be finished in the coming days.
The Home Minister targetted Jawahar Lal Nehru, saying PoK would not have come into existence had Nehru not declared untimely ceasefire with Pakistan. He said Sardar Patel should have handled Kashmir, instead of Nehru handling it.
Mr Shah said that since Article 370came into force as many as 40 thousand people lost there lives, which was thegrave concern for his party and hence BJP Government was firm to nullify theArticle 370. He asserted that Jammu and Kashmir’s integration with India wascompleted with the scrapping of Article 370.
Mr Shah also made reference of historynarrating how Article 370 came into force. He stated that the Pak OccupedKashmir wouldn’t have come into existence had Nehru not declared untimelyceasefire with Pakistan.
The Home Minister stated that Article370 was of no use for India or Kashmir; rather it gave scope to spreadterrorism and anti social activities including huge financial corruption inKashmir. Mr Shah added that three dynasties which ruled Kashmir did not allowthe Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to be set up there. He said, those whoindulged in corruption in Kashmir now are feeling the heat despite the coldthere.
The Home Minister assured thatabrogation of article 370 will end terrorism in J&K and start economicprogress and development in the state. He asserted that not a single bullet hasbeen fired in Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370. He also assured thatthere will be no unrest in Kashmir and in the coming days and terrorism will befinished.
