There is no respite from cold and foggy weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh. Icy cold wind from northern part have further intensified cold wave conditions in state. Dense fog continued to disrupt rail, road and air traffic in most parts of the state for the forth consecutive day today.
Four people died and eleven injured in two pile ups of one dozen vehicles in accident on Lucknow -Agra Express way due to heavy fog yesterday.
At Shahjahanpur district 30 people were injured out of which five serious in two accidents following low visibility. Though government machinery have arranged lighting of bonfire in state but people may be easily seen shivering at public places. Train passengers are worst sufferer who have to wait trains running five to ten hours at stations.
