The group formed as the ‘Committee for Justice to Forbesganj Police Firing Victims’ said that if CM did not heed their demand they would also submit a memorandum to the Chinese embassy here.. The memorandum will highlight targeted killings of minorities in Bihar.
The committee will stage a Dharna at Bihar Bhawan here in the capital on June 13 11:00am onwards. The committee has asked all like minded people to join hand against the Nitish Kumar’s oppression against poor people.

Local people were protesting against the blockade of the road connecting the two villages for building a factory. “The police not only opened fire on the protestors but chased them to their homes, and killed them. They were shot at point blank range and killed, including two women and an infant”, founding member of the Committee, Mahtab Alam said.
The committee has put three demands before the Bihar government. These include immediate suspension of all the police personnel involved in the case and registration of an FIR against them under section 307 of Indian Penal Code; time bound judicial probe into the entire incident by not less than a sitting judge of the high court and compensation of at least Rs. 10 lakhs as proposed in the Communal and Targeted Violence Bill to each family along with government service to one of the dependents.
